Fall Happenings!
As we FALL into cooler weather & shorter days, it conjures up thoughts of homemade soups, hot chocolate, crisp & colorful piles of leaves, and most of all – perfect dog-walking weather! By this time of the year, I am so thankful that cooler, less humid temperatures are just around the corner. I am thankful that my staff & I can start to really enjoy the great part of our job which is getting out & walking around beautiful Aiken with all of your dogs. But that’s not all, we still love our feline friends & the time we get to spend giving them snuggles & listening to their meows & purrs because they are happy to see us. So, thank you Vicktoria, Nicole & Krysta for bearing the fires of summer hell while still remaining cheerful & loving to all of our two & four-legged clients.
Now that summer vacations are over, kids are back at school & we head into the last months of 2024, I thought I would use this time to fill everyone in on some of the additions here at Red Dog Pet Services. First & foremost, in August I completed the last phase of training & successfully passed my exam to become a PetTech CPR, 1st Aid & PetSaver Instructor. This is a commitment I made to myself, & in turn our community, back in February of this year. It has culminated in my launching the Red Dog Pet Services Education arm of my small business. Earlier this month both the Red Dog First Aid & CPR Facebook page & website went live (see links below).
Secondly, on September 22nd the staff of Red Dog Pet Services will be taking a full day of training so that I can instruct them on First Aid & CPR.
I will be offering two PetTech classes through the end of this year to clients & the community.
CPR & First Aid – 5 hour class
PetSaver – 8 hour class
If you, or anyone you know are interested in taking either of these classes, please click on the preferred class here to register: https://pettech.net/members/lisareddogpetservices.com/
You can also find out more about each class, what you will learn & what you will walk away with at the completion of class on my Red Dog Pet First Aid and CPR website here: https://reddogpetfirstaidcpr.com/
Or on the Red Dog Pet First Aid and CPR Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/Reddogpetfirstaidandcpr
Lastly, if you like & follow the Red Dog Pet First Aid and CPR Facebook page I will be using this page exclusively for educational purposes. Here you will find great articles, tips, health and safety information, and much more. I will also be announcing newly scheduled offerings of classes to include the addition of “Hiking with your Pets” & “Emergency Preparedness Planning for your Pet.” Looking forward to being an educational resource for you & your pets!
