Paula Barbour

Hi, I’m Paula. I arrived in Aiken in April 2024. My husband and I, along with our dog Molly and cat Cody, decided it was time for a better quality of life and found our forever home in Aiken. My husband closed his commercial printing business and is now semi retired and works at Lowe’s supermarket. I co-own a large private car service on Cape Cod and now work part-time running the daily scheduling from Aiken. From the moment we saw Aiken on our search for a new home, Aiken felt like a comfy old sweater. It just fit. I am also a registered volunteer at the SPCA Albrecht Center for animal welfare. I’m looking forward to helping you in the care of your fur babies.

Jane Homeyer

Jane Homeyer

Hi! My name is Jane, and I’m so happy to be part of the Red Dog Pet Service family here in Aiken. I’ve been a dog lover and owner my entire life, and caring for animals has always been one of my greatest joys.

Over the years, I’ve trained several of my own dogs to earn their AKC Canine Good Citizen certifications, and I truly believe in patience, consistency, and positive care. Right now, I share my home with two very special girls: Daisy, my English Mastiff, and Patch, my sweet 16-year-old Border Collie–Beagle mix who has taught me a lot about senior dog care and gentle attention.

Before retiring, I spent many years in public service in leadership roles that required a high level of trust, responsibility, and attention to detail. That same care and reliability carry over into how I look after your pets. I understand that your animals are part of your family, and I will treat them as if they were my own—with love, respect, and careful attention to their needs and routines.

Whether your pet needs a walk, a visit, or just some extra TLC while you’re away, you can feel confident they will be in kind, capable, and loving hands with me. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members!
